Tour Guide

Return to the Hub

Reflective Imagery is a small, and friendly community that shares a love of interactive historical-fiction, fantasy, horror, and more. In fact, we share a love of anything creative, albeit, drawing, cooking, or sculpture, name anything creative and we love it. We all have our own character homes that we can decorate (or not). To go to yours, please click on this icon on the registry panel.

Our venues are run and owned by our members and the content and activities found within them are decided by the venue owners and their members.

To begin, scroll down and use the quick navigation buttons (these buttons are only designed to get you started a little quicker and in no way represent the full site).

If you should now, or in the future need more information you can always access this tour guide from the left-hand-top silver globe.

Want a real person to guide you around your new community? Then contact any member of staff.

Okay, so you have no clue what Interactive Writing is, leave alone Written Roleplay? Then contact Demelza at home or send her mail and she will be happy to tell all.

Before applying to a venue you may wish to see Reflective Imagery's Rating System so that you know whether or not it is the place for you (underage applications are thrown out by the system automatically.)

Once again, welcome, and we hope that you soon come to feel as at home here as we all do. The Reflective Imagery Team

You must be logged in to Reflective Imagery to use the links in this Tour Guide.

The below buttons and links will open new browser windows so that you may continue to read the tour whilst you explore.

An important note: Please remember that members have to have been active in Reflective Imagery for three months before a venue can be approved (this does not mean we expect daily log-ins or anything:) Also, I am afraid that we will no longer approve any Fan-Fic Venues. In fact, the more unique your idea is, the more likely it is to get approved.

Welcome to Reflective Imagery. This special introductory page is designed to help you navigate around Reflective Imagery. It automatically pops up when you log in for the first 5 times, after which you can consult it by clicking on the Tour Guide link in the drop-down menu (via the shiny globe found in the top-left of most pages).

Graphic Agora have a wonderful selection of graphics available free to all RI members. The talented staff at Graphic Agora also create Unique graphics upon request.

A few starters

A good thing to remember when navigating Reflective Imagery is that the sophisticated software works on "Mouse Glide" and click. Gone are the messy drop downs, everything is simply a glide away. Begin by looking for the shiny square in the top left of the The Hub which is the first page you come to. Select "Restart Registry" and click! This will open the Registry (people panel/Control Panel) if it is not open already, and you can send telegrams from there and much more. The Registry (PP/Control Panel) also serves as your personal control panel for the site. You can change the entire look of Reflective Imagery from there by gliding your mouse over "Environs" and choosing one (then click "update" also on the Registry Panel. To reach your home click on the small house that can be found at the very top of the Registry" (PP/Control panel) and it looks exactly like this... only smaller:)

The heart and soul of Reflective Imagery are its Venues and the people who own them along with the members who participate in them. You can have a look at the Venues here at Reflective Imagery by going to The Locus. Found a venue you like and want a fast way to come back to it? Click the heart like this that you will see at the top the venues main page and you will find it added to your favorites in the drop down menu from the shiny globe. If you would like to see the sections within the locus and information on them please click Locus Help.

You can also select "Request New Venue" From the far left Globe's (Sojourn) menu that you'll find at The Locus (or click the "Apply for a new venue button above). Please remember though that there is an annual limit of Venues that can be approved here at Reflective Imagery. So please have a well thought out "intended" content for your Venue before applying because believe it or not we truly hate having to turn them down.:( incidentally, huge activity within a venue is not required here at Reflective Imagery. You can make your Venue as active, or as exclusive as you wish). A grand Venue to get you started within participation here at Reflective Imagery is: Reflective Material

You may also apply for your very own magazine here, with real tools and easy decorating options to make your publication truly professional!
